Diversity and Inclusion Manager

We are seeking an individual who is a positive disruptor, who can drive change across the entire organisational landscape in a credible way. You will be innovative in your approach, and your application must demonstrate this, while outlining your key achievements in the D&I space across all teams.



We are a global marketplace and platform giving creators the tools to manufacture, promote, sell and distribute their own limited-edition apparel through pre-order campaigns (and helping shoppers make better buying decisions in the process).

Our mission is to champion creativity, supporting grassroots creators while reducing the waste in fashion. Think ASOS for the new generation.

We are an ambitious, tight-knit and happy bunch who get together and get stuff done out of our lovely Dalston office (right behind the best coffee shop in London). A typical week involves fruit bowls, team sports, trips to the pub and free-lunch Fridays. ✌️🌱

Your duties

  • Provide professional advice and guidance to senior leaders, managers and colleagues relating to diversity legislation, regulation and work environment best practice
  • Working closely with marketing to deliver strong communications and content that can be shared internally and externally
  • Design and take ownership of the diversity and inclusion 12 month road map
  • Investigate and conduct deep analysis of the internal data, to build a clear image of equality and diversity across the organisation

Organise and Run Effective Employee Training Programs

  • Run and deliver workshops and training covering topics such as unconscious bias, authentic and inclusive leadership, neuro-diversity and diverse recruitment models

  • Lead partnership with third-party organisations to advance staff education and training, panel discussions, and implementation of best practices across business functions
  • Disseminate learning and awareness-raising across the company, making use of existing

Diversity and Inclusion Recruitment Strategy

  • Support the Head of People in creating a recruitment strategy to ensure non bias-recruitment and an objective hiring process. You will also help in sourcing tools that help connect diverse talent
  • Create clear hiring goals for the organisation that will improve the rates of diversity
  • Work with social media and marketing teams to develop an employee brand that is representative of our diversity and inclusion efforts

Sustainability (People and Planet)

  • Sustainability, inclusivity & well being are at the core of our People & Culture offering. This role will be involved in ensuring that these fundamentals run through everything we do.
  • Design, develop and implement organisation-wide inclusion, well being and culture strategies with consistent core elements that drive towards delivering the overarching shift required.
  • Manage the well-being road map with the allocated budget including mental health support, team socials and corporate social responsibility.
  • Work hand in hand with the relevant team members to complete B-corp road map tasks related to your department

Background and skills

  • 1-2 years experience in a diversity and inclusion role
  • In-depth knowledge and application of legislative framework that supports equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Presentation skills and/or experience of delivering training and awareness
  • Experience of working with data and using this to inform policy and initiatives
  • Have an unwavering commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

Bonus Experience

  • Experience of having led on diversity issues at a startup
  • Great experience in creating high quality copy across across a range of platforms
  • Proven experience of developing D&I solutions that fit business needs with an understanding of wider organisation cultural change and development.
  • Experience of managing change arising from significant changes to business practices, behaviors and attitudes.
