Accurately process high volumes of supplier invoices, including setting up new suppliers; the invoices will need to be authorised, coded and posted into Receipt Bank and Xero (our invoice processing and accounting systems)
Communicate with suppliers and address supplier queries
Process staff expense claims and card reconciliations
Coordinate bi-weekly supplier payment runs
Assist with supplier statement reconciliations at month end
Assist Finance Manager with credit control
Provide support to wider Finance Team as needed, and assist with ad hoc projects and tasks
Challenge the status quo and proactively think of processes which need improvement
Get involved in various projects to ensure Finance, and the wider business, achieves B corp accreditation, and make sure we are challenging ourselves to go above and beyond
Degree in Finance and Accounting with a year in industry, or studying towards AAT as a minimum
Good knowledge of Excel would be useful
Experience using Xero or Receipt Bank would be beneficial, but not essential
